What you'll do:

  • Responsible for understanding & articulating the full mid-market business P&L

  • Identify underlying trends which the business can either capitalise upon or mitigate as required

  • Be the mid-market MD’s second in command

  • Be a key member of the Mid Market leadership team, with the pivotal role to provide sales insight to drive strategic and operational decision making

  • Ensure we have the right sales coverage & models and understand week on week sales and service performance

  • Lead the definition and performance management of the mid market salespeople bonus schemes and targets.

  • Support mid-market MD in defining the annual and quarterly sales strategy to achieve the target customer base growth and revenue. Collaborate with the marketing team on quarterly plans, and lead the planning & delivery of sales campaigns

  • Identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and lead the definition of actions (working closely with the HoD Sales) to achieve these improvements & therefore sales targets

What you'll bring:

  • Authentic Leadership skills and experience supporting others development

  • Be extremely organised and understand the importance of a great plan

  • Great at building strong internal and external relationships based on trust, and respect

  • Strong analytical mind with an eye for detail

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Ideally come from a pricing & propositions background

  • Strategic ability and able to build strong and persuasive business cases.
