Job Description

We are looking for passionate Commis Chefs to join our established Culinary Team at The Star Gold Coast. With prospects for career development and the opportunity to learn and grow within a large team of experienced chefs with skills that range from casual to fine dining.

Based on your skills and experience we will work with you to determine which venues are right for you, with an offering including Uncle Su, Kiyomi, Harvest Buffet and more!

What are we looking for?

  • Successful completion of a Cert 4 in Commercial Cookery essential
  • Previous experience working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Experience in Japanese or Cantonese cuisine is highly regarded.
  • The ability to efficiently work as part of the team
  • Passionate about learning new techniques and skills
  • Flexible availability over a 7-day roster
