Job Description

Randstad is currently recruiting for an experienced Office Administrative Support Officer to join a leading Federal Government agency. This is a temporary position for a period of 6 months with potential extension.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Administrative Support Team provides a range specialist and general administrative support services to Federal
Prosecutors. The team is focused on delivering timely, quality services to support the day-to-day needs of the legal
practice and has a physical presence in each office.

PRIMARY OUTCOMES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

The OASO will liaise with internal and external stakeholders on moderately complex operational and administrative
matters, resolve moderately complex enquiries from stakeholders and provide information and advice as a
representative of the work area.

The OASO will set priorities, organise workflow, provide support, review and assist with the achievement of broader
workgroup objectives.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:
1. Office administration activities (including financial management, procurement, facilities management, property
administration, and security administration).
2. Case administration and court preparation activities.
3. Business and digital litigation systems support.
4. Court liaison and diary management.
5. Executive support including secretariat services.
6. Records management.
7. Building rapport and maintaining internal and external relationships.
8. Responding to enquiries and providing accurate advice in a timely manner.
9. Identifying and escalating issues to senior team members.
10. Undertaking appropriate learning and development activities as required.

The successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and will be required to complete a minimum Baseline Security Clearance with the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
