In 2006 Carnegie Mellon University became the first international institution to open an Australian campus, doing so in Adelaide. Established in 1900 in the US, CMU has a proud history of innovation, establishing itself most notably as a global leader in training the business leaders of tomorrow. Students are taught by on-site faculty in Adelaide and by highly-qualified professors from CMU’s Pittsburgh and Washington D.C. campuses via video link. With almost 30 different nationalities represented, this is the most global of university campuses – at the completion of their studies, students even receive a US degree!
